Our interlocking foam tiles are super-simple to install without using any adhesive or tape. Moreover, each interlocking flooring tile comes with two border strips that allows you to edge an island layout with a straight edge all the way around the perimeter of your installation. This means you can create different sizes to match your space needs.
Installation involves:
- Allowing the foam tiles to acclimate to your room before actual installation
- Laying the foam floor times down and interlocking them together
- While laying, ensure that you allow ¼ inch expansion gap as these tiles can expand with changes in heat and humidity
- Start installation in a corner using border strips to reduce amount of cutting in wall-to-wall installations
The flooring works great for basement floors, trade-show booths, events, offices, game rooms, or other areas. You can set tables, chairs, or other items on top of the flooring.
